Online Dialogue is looking for a Creative Developer
If you have been experiencing the natural combination of UX and front-end development for some time, then please read on. Or respond immediately.

As a Creative Developer, you will be part of the UX team. You use your creativity to turn ideas and concepts into effective designs. You create clear briefings, communicate these to a team of developers and check the results. Last but not least: hack away! You quickly see how we can use existing websites' API or ajax calls for DOM manipulation to test your concepts.

What do we expect from you?

  • You have at least two years of relevant work experience as a front-end developer
  • You have good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery (knowledge of Angular and React.js is a plus)
  • You have an affinity for design and liquid and responsive design principles
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, VWO and/or Optimizely is a plus
  • You are driven and inventive in technical solutions
  • You are curious about new tools and techniques
  • You have the ambition to become one of the best in your field in terms of content
  • You master Dutch and English in word and writing but above all you ‘speak’ Javascript
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact and collaborate with various parties

Who are we?

Online Dialogue is the leading agency in the field of online optimization. Obviously because we accommodate all passionate ‘experts’. And because our approach is unique: we work in multidisciplinary teams with web analysts, psychologists, UX designers, copywriters and developers. Combining data, (user) research and (online) behavioral psychology to achieve good online dialogues is central but above all: ‘we prove everything’.

We like to share all that knowledge, skill and experience. Increasingly, we are setting up internal teams at our clients' sites that we guide from start to finish as optimization specialists. And that's how we end up somewhere: Ziggo, Marktplaats, Hostelworld, KPN, Achmea, ABNAMRO MeesPierson, ...

What can you expect from us?

  • We go for quality and we want that quality to improve daily. That means: daring to do things, learning but also learning to fail, evaluating and then getting even better.
  • As a front-end developer, you will be challenged by demanding clients, but certainly also by your bright colleagues. And that includes some real market gems. You will be working with Ton Wesseling and Bart Schutz, who are considered some of the best CRO specialists in the Netherlands.
  • In addition, you will learn all about the brain at lightning speed. Because our psychologists are never too shy to point out how we as humans are actually put together (which is different than you think). And then we also have a few stubborn marketers walking around who think just a tad differently about digital matters.
  • We breathe optimization at Online Dialogue. Not only do we test continuously, but we also conduct customer and top task research, analyze heatmaps and exploit every other opportunity to improve conversion at our clients.
  • But on top of that, it's just a lot of fun with us. You can already secretly experience that yourself because we have an open office concept. At our office, the ODhouse, you are always welcome as a digital professional idiot! Come and spend a day with us: measuring is knowing!

We offer you in 1e instance an employment for 40 hours per week for a period of 6 months and hope that this period will be the beginning of a longer cooperation.

Eddy is director of operations. He describes his role as ‘Haarlemmer oil,’ ‘flying keeper’ or ‘vacuum cleaner. A touch theatrical in which you could recognize his background in the theater profession. But somewhere it is true, looking at his ’plate': processes, systems, (labor) contracts, training and assessment on the one hand (work hard), coffee, something stronger, treats, streamers and balloons on the other hand (play harder).
