On Thursday November 1 from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Online Dialogue is hosting its 28th Dialogue Thursday, our customer and knowledge event also known as the DiDo.
Psychology: not a trick, but the common thread of your CRO program
After many DiDo's on data and process, we will dedicate the 28th edition entirely to psychology. What is the added value of psychology within the optimization process? How can we learn to understand our visitors even better? But above all: what does psychology teach us about our own role and attitude as the executive forces within the CRO process?
In the marketplace, we see psychology being embraced by more and more organizations and agencies as part of the CRO program. Unfortunately, we also see that psychology is often applied as a ‘trick’ in practice.
The psychology behind conversion optimization, however, is much more than a long list of techniques that will increase your conversion rate when deployed correctly. It is a working methodology that takes the insights you gain within your CRO program to the next level.
Who is the DiDo for?
Once again, we are organizing the DiDo for clients, new and old associates, and it is by invitation only. During this afternoon the focus is nothing more than sharing knowledge and thought leadership.
Who will come to speak?
Gerben Langendijk - Senior Consumer Psychologist @ Booking.com
Gerben Langendijk is the only (licensed) psychologist among his 17,000 colleagues at Booking.com. As a consumer psychologist, Gerben works with the teams within Booking.com to fund as many experiments as possible based on good psychological literature and well-founded hypotheses. He does this for conversion, but also for the insights the experiments provide.
Eline van Baal & Joost Baalbergen - Consumer Psychology Experts @ Online Dialogue
At Online Dialogue, we don't see psychology as a toolbox with some behavioral modification techniques you can stick on everything. The real value of applying psychology is that you get to learn what motivates your customers' behavior. Psychology is not a toolbox, but the tool itself. We'll tell you how we use it at Online Dialogue.
Roos van Dam - Consumer Psychology Expert @ Online Dialogue
During her presentation, Roos van dam will discuss the role you play as a psychologist within a CRO project. How do you ensure the critical attitude that is crucial when researching behavior? In other words, how do you deal with your own human bias when this very human bias is the subject of your research?
