A day as a behavioral expert at Online Dialogue

vacancy

Your day begins with a monthly update session at a large company in the travel industry. Together with the lead of your team, you present the results of the behavioral study and the planning for the next few weeks. This is followed by a stand-up with the Online Dialogue team for the same client. Armed with a good and well-deserved cup of coffee, we briefly catch up with each other, check the dashboard to see how all the analyses and experiments are running, and draw up actions. Then everyone gets to work.

You continue your search for scientific articles on the effect of targeting and the feeling of certainty in a purchase. Based on the information gathered, you discover a pattern in the data that you would like the data analyst to check further.

In the afternoon, as usual, you will lunch with your colleagues outside for a catered lunch at Meeting Plaza. Back at the office, you get to work preparing for the in-house training on Consumer Psychology that will start the following week. When your colleague analyst sends you the information you want, you'll proceed to draft a new hypothesis for the company in the travel industry. In between, you play a game of table tennis. At the end of the afternoon, you prepare slides for the OD knowledge session the next afternoon. You want to talk about hypotheses. You're going to explain how to create a good hypothesis, but more importantly make clear what the purpose of a hypothesis is within the optimization process. You end the day together with the other behavioral experts. During the meeting you will go through the resource planning, discuss all deadlines and evaluate the ongoing projects.
