At Online Dialogue, we know all too well that as a talented designer with development skills, you can get a job anywhere. That's why we immediately answer the question ‘What's in it for you?’

If you're past the stage where you just deliver ‘pretty designs’ and instead want to make strides in the impact of your designs, then you've come to the right place. For us, design is the end product that shows we understand the customer. ‘Everything evidence based’ is our credo, which means that your designs are supported by the knowledge of your colleagues in areas such as psychology and data.

Together with Niels van der Leeuw, you will form the UX team, where you can count on coaching and support. Cross-fertilization, knowledge sharing and innovation are standard terms you read in many vacancies. But we put our money where our mouth is: there is room for Online Dialogue to develop new tools and algorithms. For example, you will soon see how we use the existing API or ajax calls on existing websites for DOM manipulation to test your own concepts. Of course we teach you how to do this.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a curious, driven designer who always wants to learn more and enjoys collaborating in multidisciplinary teams. In addition, it is helpful if you:

  • Have at least two years of relevant work experience as a UX/UI - designer;
  • Have an affinity for liquid and responsive design principles;
  • Have good knowledge of HTML & CSS and would like to learn jQuery;
  • Are curious about new tools and techniques such as Google Tag Manager, VWO and/or Optimizely;
  • but are also driven and inventive in technical solutions;
  • Have the ambition to become one of the best in your field in terms of content;
  • Proficient in Dutch and English in word and writing;
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact and collaborate with various parties.

Who are we?

Online Dialogue is the leading agency in the field of online optimization. Obviously because we accommodate all passionate ‘experts’. And because our approach is unique: we work in multidisciplinary teams with web analysts, psychologists, UX designers and developers. Combining data, (user) research and (online) behavioral psychology to achieve good online dialogues is central but above all: ‘we prove everything’.

We like to share all that knowledge, skill and experience. Therefore, we often set up internal teams at the customer's site that we guide from A to Z to become optimization specialists.

What can you expect from us?

  • We go for quality and we want that quality to improve daily. That means: daring to do things, learning but also learning to fail, evaluating and then getting even better.
    As a UX designer, you will be challenged by demanding clients, but certainly also by your bright colleagues.
  • In addition, you will learn all about the brain at lightning speed. Because our psychologists are never too shy to point out how we as humans are actually put together (which is different than you think). And then we also have a few stubborn marketers walking around who think just a tad differently about digital matters.
  • We breathe optimization at Online Dialogue. Not only do we test continuously, but we also conduct customer and top task research, analyze heatmaps and exploit every other opportunity to improve conversion at our clients.
  • But on top of that, it's just a lot of fun with us. You can already secretly experience that yourself because we have an open office concept. At our office, the ODhouse, you are always welcome as a digital professional idiot! Come and spend a day with us: measuring is knowing!

We initially offer you employment for 40 hours per week for a period of 6 months and hope that this period will be the beginning of a longer collaboration.

How do you respond to this job?

  1. Mail to Eddy.Morreau@onlinedialogue.nl.
  2. Put “UX designer” in the subject line.
  3. Tell me in the email why you would like to work with us.
  4. Add your LinkedIn profile and relevant social media links.
  5. Include examples of projects/designs you have enjoyed working on (including outside the field).

As soon as I receive this information you will get a response from me soon. There is no deadline - as soon as the position is filled, we will mention it immediately on this website.
