In this 2nd installment of the 2011 / 2012 conference season, we build on the success of the previous afternoon. Based on feedback from attendees, who rated the event with a positive Net Promoter Score, we are organizing another further optimized afternoon where knowledge sharing and depth on successfully dealing with the digital channel are the focus.

Online Dialogue Thursday is all about knowledge sharing, and we have learned that the afternoons are most successful when we listen carefully to our guests beforehand.

On Thursday, November 10, 2011, our program is as follows:

  • 2:30 p.m.: Welcome / intro
  • 2:40 p.m.: Knowledge sharing: how do I really get to know my online visitor? The prerequisite of designing a good online dialogue is not only understanding what your visitor is making contact for, but also why and what the underlying motivations are. Guided by input from the audience, we will work on 10 pragmatic tips to effectively uncover this customer information. This session is facilitated by Anouschka Scholten, senior interaction consultant with design experience at DenHaag.nl, KPN.com, Kras.nl, SNSbank.nl and Unive.nl, among others.
  • 3:15 pm: Optimization Case Quiz: Freo.co.uk. Freo is the online consumer finance label of De Lage Landen, 100% subsidiary of Rabobank, and is working step by step on improving online returns in daily practice. In this not yet public case we talk about the process at Freo. Here you can win our Conversion Champions challenge cup by being the best at predicting what all the different practical examples of Freo yielded in terms of return improvement. This session is facilitated by Ton Wesseling, senior conversion consultant with online optimization experience at ABNAMRO.nl, Renault.nl, Startpagina.nl, RTL.nl and, of course, Freo.nl, among others.
  • 3:45 p.m.: Coffee/Tea break
  • 4 p.m: Dialogue Optimization Clinic. Every time, the best-reviewed part of the afternoon. A panel of experts in various online fields give their compliments and constructive criticism on the online activities of this afternoon's visitors through dialogue glasses. Panel guidance: Maurice Beerthuyzen, senior internet consultant with online dialogue experience at Alliander.nl, Interpolis.nl, MoneYou.nl, TUI / Arke.nl, and Staatsloterij.nl, among others.
  • 5:00 p.m.: Drinks. Time to meet and share knowledge over drinks and snacks
  • 6:30 p.m.: End
