Thursday, May 31, 2012, the 10th Online Dialogue Thursday place. In addition to this wonderful milestone of our online dialogue knowledge afternoon, we are celebrating something else. Namely, the location on the 31st is our own Online Dialogue House at the Catharijnesingel 45 in Utrecht!

Anyone who has been keeping up with all of our social media activity over the past few weeks will have regularly seen pictures coming through of floorboards, painted walls, power coffee machines and all sorts of pictures for our pinterest idea board. We arrived today at the stage of cleaning up all the settled dust and sawdust for the first time, so now we really dare to claim that we will open May 31 with our new workplace.

Why the Online Dialogue House?

Online Dialogue has in recent years (and still is) growing into an ecosystem of employees and freelancers with knowledge partners and knowledge circles. As online consultants and medior and senior online staff, we are still often in the client's house, but the collaborative moments are happening more and more often. In the search for a quality workspace for a knowledge-focused company like ours, we came to the conclusion that we simply had to take care of this ourselves.

We had been working on that for a while, as some insiders on birth cakes already revealed, but our demands were high. In Utrecht city, but close to station and parking garages. Our own floor with lots of light and the possibility to make a large open space, to have meeting rooms and also space for a webinar studio. This of course at low rental costs :-). Found it! Catharijnesingel 45, 250 meters walk from the station hall. After 2 months of renovation (everything out and everything back in) it is almost there.

What is the Online Dialogue House?

An open workspace with space for clients, associates, colleagues, freelancers and other new-working knowledge specialists in our online dialogue field. We offer a workspace to all members free of charge on the basis of an invitation list (for which we will soon open a facebook group), great coffee (if the power is there then...) and tea, a nice lunch and good WiFi. What we want in return? Nice, engaged people who are open to knowledge exchange. For that, we have created 20 wonderful workplaces. Well, next week then 🙂
