10 reasons to use Airtable for your CRO process

Having a structured process and insight into your performance is essential to your CRO program. To do this, however, you need a good tool ...

At Online Dialogue, we use Airtable with all of our clients. It ensures that we have structure and overview in the processes and insights of our CRO program. You can see what is happening in the entire process, who is doing what, where and with what, and you can build on those successes.

Next week, colleagues will bring Ruben de Boer and Tom van den Berg a free Udemy course to show you how to set up your own CRO process in Airtable. Want to take this free course? We'll mention it via our website and newsletter Where and when this course is available.

But first, we want to tell you why we are so excited about Airtable -. we have no shares 😉

The 10 reasons to use Airtable

  1. It's affordable. With the free version, you can set up the entire CRO process, including all your insights and tactics. If you have more than 1,200 experiments, or you want to set up dashboards, you're going to pay per user per month. You can adjust the cost here view. For many companies, these costs are quite manageable.
  2. Airtable is very user-friendly. You can easily customize it to suit your needs. For example, you can set up a unique process, edit and delete each field and easily build your own prioritization model in the tool.
  3. Airtable replaces many other tools such as project management tools, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google forms.
  4. It offers several views while automatically linking and updating all data. Airtable has a Kanban view like any project management tool and it is linked to a database, such as Google Spreadsheets. This makes work easier and saves a lot of time.
  5. You can easily collaborate with other colleagues and send messages in Airtable.
  6. You can create dashboards and overviews with all your data.
  7. You create an overview of where and with what you are successful with your experiments, such as on what page, what device and with what psychological tactics. This makes it easier to build on your insights and successes.
  8. You can share views with colleagues via a link or the embed option. For this, colleagues do not need an account.
  9. Colleagues can share test ideas via a form. They don't need an account for this either, and their input is automatically added to the existing data in Airtable.
  10. For really advanced options, you can also use Airtable's API.

Disadvantage of Airtable

After all these advantages, of course we must also mention a disadvantage. The biggest disadvantage of Airtable is that the email support is not always adequate. Because it is not just a CRO tool, they do not fully understand the purposes for which you use the tool. As a result, good support can sometimes be lacking. If you rely heavily on excellent customer support, then a tool like Effective Experiments may be a better fit for you.
